WNC SHARE HOPE
Our plans for assisting with the Hurricane Relief happening in Western North Carolina. As always, please continue to join us in prayer for the thousands affected by the storm and for the ongoing efforts to bring restoration and hope into those areas. Share Hope is our focused effort to share resources and bring HOPE to those in need in McDowell County, NC in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Through a partnership with a local church in Marion, NC we are able to GIVE, GATHER, and GO to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
GIVE
Financial donations to our WNC Fund through HopeLKN are being accepted to support ongoing relief and rebuilding efforts in the wake of the recent devastation. Every dollar donated will be directed to two key areas: assisting First Responders in McDowell County who are on the front lines of recovery, and helping to rebuild homes that were lost during the disaster. By donating, you can play a crucial role in providing immediate assistance to those in need, while also helping to restore the community and support the dedicated responders working tirelessly to bring hope and stability back to the region. 100% of what you give will be donated directly to WNC relief efforts.
GATHER
In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, we are organizing a collection of small appliances and household items to assist those who lost essential belongings in the storm. Many individuals and families are facing the challenge of rebuilding their homes and lives, and basic items like microwaves, toasters, and other household necessities are critical for their recovery. By contributing to this collection effort, you can help provide much-needed support to those affected by the hurricane, offering them a chance to rebuild and restore a sense of normalcy.

GO
In the coming months, we will offer several opportunities for volunteers to help deliver collected items and contribute to the rebuilding process in the affected areas. Once initial structural repairs are completed on homes, there will be a critical need for assistance in restoring these homes to livable conditions. Volunteers will have the chance to help distribute the items that have been generously donated, as well as participate in hands-on rebuilding efforts. These opportunities will not only provide immediate relief to those who have lost their homes, but also offer long-term support in the recovery process.
